Following the assignment, I used layers to modify the colors and contrast of different photos and improve the quality.
I used Photoshop to combine four photos by moving three of the photos and scaling them down.
I used levels on Photoshop to adjust the saturation of images.
I edited the hues of images in Photoshop, which changed their color. Before editing them, the second and third images below were natural colors.
I added text to an image to create an advertisement for a Mother's Day Sale.
I used a gradient overlay to create visual cohesion in my Mother's Day Card.
I experimented with cropping in Photoshop using the Content Aware feature. It worked well for most of my images.
I altered the resolution of an image, first by increasing it and then by decreasing it.
I tried two different methods to create a galaxy effect inside of a coffee cup. One utilized a layer mask, while the other just had me cut out an image and place it into the cup.
I also tried these two methods for the image below. Ultimately, I used the mask method because it was less destructive.
I used Photoshop's quick selection tool and then made adjustments to the product to make the image appear more natural against the backdrop.
I used smart objects to create this advertisement in Photoshop.
I used the Warp and Distort tools to apply logos to an image and make them appear natural in the setting.
